Here is a car that started out as a regular 1967 fastback mustang and went under the knife to become a GT500 clone made popular by the movie ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’. The customer wanted to create a modern interior that would enhance the driving experience to that of a modern luxury vehicle. We were tasked with integrating front and rear seats and some of the trim from a 2016 model mustang and building the interior trim around it.
We also worked with an auto electrician to include a GPS tracking and alarm system, a custom switch panel, new custom gauges and lighting inside and out. We installed electric windows, air horn, window washer system, manual/electric boot popper, an amplified sound system and custom centre console and boot trim. Plenty of sound suppression helped quieten the ride.
Also we worked on exterior detailing and project managed the trades to help complete the car and get it compiled for the road.
